Nuri!

Haaaaa sounds like Parrot! Nuri ni nama kedai TomYam sedap dekat Kg Baru KL ni! Aku dengan baby aku every week every day makan sini! Kami selalu order benda sama sebab ni ja kami makan! Yang penting kami x order SAYUR! S-A-Y-U-R 🌿 Kami dedua tak makan sayuran hijau! Yeck. Jangan bagi kami sayur sebab kami bukan kambengggggg. 🐐 Kami kumpulan carnivore so suka kambing + daging steak. Tapi if p kedai Nuri ni kami akan order sotong stim limau, tomyam seafood pedas (favorite ni) i cant live without TOMYAM 🍲, sotong goreng tepung and kalau bosan makan nasi aku makan Mee Cambo dia! Mee Cambo macam sup but dia from Thai then dia letak chickenball or beefball. Slurppppp nyum! Nuri ni dah jadi port wajib kami since 2011 lagi. Now dia dah nak moved to lain. Nuri ni jugak owner dia sama dengan Rosdet Tomyam yang famous dekat ChowKit! Nanti if korang cari kedai Tomyam or kedai Siam area Kg Baru, boleh laa pergi Nuri or Rosdet! Korang takkan menyesal and sedap! Kalau pergi Rosdet jangan lupa makan ayam pandan and nasi bubur berlauk dia. 😋 Yummehhhhhh! K bye! Nak tido nak mimpi makan Tomyam! Tomyam 4 lyfe yeahhhhhh!

Vacation with second family

Me, Nasrul & a few friends  such as Harzely & Farhan decided to share this holiday together. Last minute plan. Haha. And on a nice gloomy Friday morning, we were off to Kota Bahru. Me & Nasrul from KL while both of them from Alor Setar. It took us a good 7 hours journey plus to the jetty before we could even see the place.

The trip are worth. I instantly felt energised the moment we stepped on the white sand beach...smelling the freshesh air I've ever breath in and just looking at the crystal blue sea...We choose to stay in this resort, which really is a wooden Tropicana Resort hut with air cond...exactly what we wanted but before, there is a conflict between us and the hotel guy. Nothing to remind us to the busy city life, just simple living & enjoying the serenity there (not to mentioned RM5 worth of mineral water bottles).

We managed to get in water & snorkeling on day two.

Perhentian Island is famous for its clean, clear seawater & wonder underwater life. Naturally we had to go for its snorkeling trips. The package includes an around-the-island snorkeling trip to 2 coral spots, a turtle spot & a sharks spot. IT WAS WONDERFUL. To be frank I know how to swim, proud tu ada laa sikit heeeee! My house got pool and since 5 my mom paid one chinese uncle name Michael to teach me swim matter.  I  jump straight in without wearing life jacket. I love Shark Point! Simply awesome...the only regret i had was not having an underwater camera. The corals, although not much, was absolutely gorgeous...you would somehow have a sense of peacefulness when your in the water, looking at the sea life below and just listening to nothing at all...Here are the photos from my snorkeling adventure...

There is two bar which is just next to each other named Black Tip & Beach Bar. At night, we went down to the bar to have some air and smoke shisha.

Perhentian Island is really a fantastic place to just have some much needed R&R for us city people. And its not that expensive as well...a RM250 per night resort would be more than enough for you to stay in, with their own beaches and very good basic facilities. Don't expect The Four Seasons Hotel but really, this is so much better than those 5 star hotels.

Go. Indulge yourselves.

Well...nothing to say really. No words seem to give justice to this beautiful little island...it is just...magnificent.

Oh by the way...expect at least 2 weeks of being the blackest among your friends after your Perhentian trip. Advise? Use ALOT of sunscreen.

Lastly, wanna say thousand thanks to Abe Peer cause send & fetch us at the jetty. Hmmmm. Wish abe could follow us! Next time okeh? Plan kasi clear!
