💇‍♀️ Plot Twist: I Changed My Hair (Again)

Pssssstttttt... guess what?
Yeah, I did the thing again.
New hair, who dis?

Last week, I waltzed into RidzOkumura USJ, looked Sheera in the eye (she’s sooo cute btw, her hair is giving ✨main character energy✨), and said:

“Ash green, please. Let’s cause some drama.” 😌

And y’all… she delivered. At first, it was a cool ash green—buttttt after about a month (thanks, bleach 💀), the color slowly transformed into this surprise shade of blonde-ish. Day by day, it got lighter and lighter until suddenly I looked in the mirror and—BAM!—blonde bombshell unlocked. 💁‍♀️

✂️ The Bleach Drama Saga

Okay but real talk—bleaching ain't all sunshine and selfies. My hair ends started splitting like a K-drama plotline. 😩 So I had to chop off the bottom half—RIP to those strands, you served your time.

Beauty comes at a price, sis. But do I regret it?
NEVER! 😌

🔁 3rd Time’s Still the Charm at Ridz

This was my third time at Ridz and honestly, I’m still obsessed:

  • Round 1: Styled by Abg Bard (icon!)

  • Round 2: The fabulous Candy

  • Round 3: Cut & color by the stylish queen herself—Sheera

Each time, they’ve made me feel brand new.

If you're thinking of a hair glow-up, go book that slot.

You deserve main character hair, too. 💚

These are fresh-fresh-fresh, straight out of the salon.
Before the full blonde transformation, while it was still simmering like a slow-burn romance. 🧚‍♀️

Back to September!

September! Oh, September!

In our Glow group, so many of us are September babies! meow! 🐾

That means one thing: it's the month of partayyyy! 🎉

(Okay lah, macam bulan lain no party pula? Eh eh? Heee~ 😜)

But still, September feels extra special. Why? Because I work hard, and I PLAY harder!

A Last-Minute Trip to Seoul That Stole My Heart

It’s been one year since we returned from Korea and I can say with absolute honesty that I miss that country more than I’ve missed any other in my entire life.  I knew I was going to miss it months before we even left.  I tried to soak up as much of it as I could.  I’d take long walks through our neighborhood, savor every last bite of bulgogi burger and bongchu jjimdak, arrange memorable outings with our friends, and take as many pictures as possible.  Did it work?  Maybe… but I still miss it like crazy.  I miss our amazing friends, the delicious food, the laid back schedule we had, and the nice paychecks we made.

Watched the Changing of the Guard at Changdeokgung and Gyeongbokgung
like we were in a time machine ⏳

Locked our love (literally!) at the top of N Seoul Tower, with the whole city twinkling below us ✨

Every little moment felt extra special because we knew we were about to say goodbye.
So now I’m left with this weird feeling… not quite homesick, because Korea isn’t technically home… but also not not homesick. Like, is Koreasick a thing? Can we make that a word?

Because that’s 100% what I am. Koreasick. 💙

Love, Rosie

You can't respect the friendship by denying the facts.

Definitely a modern love story. The movie covers the story of the title character, Rosie's 12 years of life. From the night when she celebrates her 18th birthday till becomes the 30 year old mother. It's a long journey in the real life, and the movie report only the romance side of the life as it is a romantic comedy. Based on the book named 'Where Rainbow Ends', but lots of changes have been done to make a youthfully celebratible movie for the young generation.

Usually, the famous romantic dramas are slow, lengthy, and well developed characters. Of course, this one was a romcom, though, much better in many aspect with less emotions and swift pace. About the characters, it was Rosie's perspective and having Alex as a counterpart, the rest are not given much importance other than permits a fair display. Nowadays I kind like Lily Collins, she's cute, maybe it is a crush. But that does not the reason to I like this film, not entirely true. I find it somewhat atypical with many convincing scenes and lines.

The story is intensifyingly frustrates us as it takes extreme turns all the time just to make a further riddle and complicate. But that is how the screenplay survives or there won't be any story to tell. It might be Rosie's romance, but you don't have to be a woman/girl to enjoy this film. I don't believe such kind of categorisation, because in the earlier time everyone believed animation is for children only and then it proved wrong. So if a man can watch a movie without damaging his brain, losing his eyesight, or becoming paralysed, then I don't see an issue rather making up everything himself. Hope you all enjoy the movie as I did.

Also, I loved the soundtrack Littlest Things by Lily Allen.

Not My Friend! That’s My Aunt! Meet Manja 💖

Nahhh… ini bukan kawan i okay? Ini mak incik i! đŸ’…đŸ’•
We call her Manja! and trust me, the name fits her perfectly! 💅

Dalam family kitaorang, semua ada nama manja masing-masing. Macam i, everyone calls me "Kakak" sebab i anak sulung daripada tiga beradik and cucu pertama on both sides of the family. Firstborn + first grandchild = extra sayang from nenek & atuk, okayyy! 💁đŸģ‍♀️ Ceyy, perasan sikit! Hehe.

Back to the story...

Last weekend, my darling Aunt Manja teman me to Beauty Gene Professional @ The Gardens Mall sebab I wanted to extend my fake lashes! 💁‍♀️ You know, gotta keep the lashes flutterin'~

We may look like besties, but no no!!!! she’s 31! Can you believe that?! We’re 10 years apart but sometimes it really doesn’t feel like it. All my aunties are cinonet and super close to me. Honestly, it feels more like we’re siblings than aunt-niece. Like literally...... we share everything:

Sebantal. Sekatil. Setilam. Sebilik air. Eh eh 😜

Thank you Manja for always temaning me, layaning me, and spoiling me with food (she knows the way to my heart 💕). Kadang dia tengah diet pun still teman i makan and sometimes siap belanja! Sayang lebih okay! Hewhew 💕💸

Next week? Another pamper day incoming! 💇‍♀️
Got an appointment to color my hair and do full-body waxing! Since I’m allergic to shaving, waxing is the way to go. From armpits to legs to... dot dot dot. 😅

And yes—Brazilian wax included!
People selalu tanya, "Tak malu ke??"
Babe, nope! The beautician is a woman, and anyway… one day kita nak beranak pun, orang tengok jugak, so relax la okay. 😂

So next week, Manja temankan Kakak lagi okay!
Sayang sangat kat Manja. Tayammmm nyerrrr!
Wurve chuuuuuuu! 💘💘💘
